Seven Things About Me:
- I love books and I love to read. I really have a problem when it comes to buying books. There are three bookshelves in my apartment.
- I am an animal person. I grew up with animals, and I even have a degree in animal science. I grew up with horses, dogs, cats, and chickens. I have two cats now who I love dearly, and I still get to see my other animals when I visit my parents.
- Aside from the animal science degree, I have a Masters of Public Health. I am really fascinated by diseases and statistics. I would love nothing more than to help rid the world of some disease!
- My family traveled a lot when I was young, at least compared to some families. I think that really instilled a love for travel in me. My first international trip was to study abroad in Belize when I was 19. I have been hooked ever since.
- I don’t like coffee. I don’t like the taste and it makes me too jittery. I do love tea, though.
- I am a total geek. If I see an opportunity to quote Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter I will do it, without hesitation.
- I am a very introverted person. I enjoy being alone, and I love going out and doing things by myself. It helps me recharge!
